The Simply Solar prism effect is
created by our manufacturing process, our special formula and the Gothic
arch design.
Millions of chopped greenhouse quality
fiberglass fibers bond together with the special hot resin mix to cause
the Simply Solar to reflect all available light.

is no shadows. Light is reflected and refracted to every inch of the interior,
causing a heat and light build-up in cold weather, allowing you to grow
on all levels and on the ground. |

This surround light effect causes
everything to get the same amount of light while allowing the ultra-violet
screening agent and smooth outside surface too provide a 100% block of
the burning rays of the sun—even if you set your Solar Prism in full or
partial sun!
There are two large windows
- one at one end the other in the door. The roof openings are oversized
and installed offset so your Solar Prism will allow air flow to enter from
any direction.
The Venting
Except for extreme temperature days,
the vast majority of our customers find that there is no need for an extensive
fan system.
After researching the marketplace
for the best automatic opening system, we selected a European system.

the internal temperature reaches the preset limit, your roof vent will
automatically open to the appropriate height for proper venting. |

Heating
Heating your Simply Solar is simple.
Heating is only necessary during extreme cold temperatures at night.
| Your heat source can be either electric
or gas and should be 1500 watts or 5000 to 6000 BTU’s.
Whatever your choice of heating device,
it should have a thermostat and a small fan to move the heated air for
even distribution.
In the winter, the Simply Solar’s
‘prism’ effect absorbs light and heat on rainy, foggy or overcast days
and gives you full growing light and ample heat. |

The Foundation
The Simply Solar Greenhouse has a
stabilizing lip completely surrounding the inner dimensions. We provide
this unique lip to eliminate a costly foundation.
We install your Simply Solar Greenhouse
by preparing a footing trench. A simple 4” trench is all that it takes.
It’ so simple ~ if you move, you can easily take your Solar Prism
and set it up at your new home.
| With the ground as a foundation,
you give added strength to the walls. The ground foundation also provides
growing space, evaporative cooling, heating and a humidity source. A layer
of organic mulch in the greenhouse will act as a cold barrier, increase
humidity and will work as mulch. Stepping stones can run down the center. |

Wind Stability
Part of the wind stability of your
greenhouse is because of it’s unique foundation, because your Simply Solar
Greenhouse is below grade level the wind tends to foil over your greenhouse.
It is a classic wind resistant design.

The Gothic arch shape of your greenhouse converts much of the lateral wind
energy downward on the windward side and reduces the vacuum on the leeward
side. |

This unique characteristic of the
Gothic arch shape makes the Simply Solar Greenhouse very stable in high
winds.
The ribbed, one piece construction
is strong and leaves no joints or seams to catch the wind.
Sided ways movement is prevented
by insetting the greenhouse 4 inches below the ground surface.
